On September 9th the highly talented designer Cesar Galindo presented his spring 2014 collection, Czar, in the Box near Lincoln Center. Far from your typical runway show the collection was presented with models creatively posing on top of white blocks standing in front of a projector screen. Images bounced off their sheer dresses and set the mood for a theatrical show.

The models displayed a complete head to toe look. Their hair was accented with jewels that ran down their middle part into a ponytail. A silver dust of shimmer covered the models face for a metallic look complimented with a silver pout. Cesar Galindo did not restrict himself when it came to the color palette. He incorporated an array of vibrant and bold shades such as a bright blue graphic jumper and a lime green sporty romper.  The designers special attention to detail was highlighted in a red and pink maxi dress that was carefully pleaded.

A new trend emerging for the spring is the use of sequins. Cesar Galindo used numerous embellished dresses that were beautifully showcased in the dim lighting. From white sequined dresses to black sparkling sheer fabrics the trend is perfect for a night out. Every piece in the Czar collection is ready to wear for any occasion  Cesar Galindo manage to incorporate all aspects of a woman’s wardrobe.
