JOHN FRIEDA® CELEBRATES 25 YEARS OF TRANSFORMING WOMEN’S HAIR
|London, UK: Last night John Frieda was joined in the Ballroom at Claridge’s by a host of stylish celebrity guests to celebrate 25 years of transforming hair. Pixie and Fifi Trixibelle Geldof, Tallulah Harlech, Rick Edwards, Edie Campbell, Lucy Watson, Saffron Aldridge and George Lamb joined the celebrations and were treated to DJ sets by Jack Guinness, Lily Cole and Bip Ling.|
On entering the venue, guests were ushered through a gallery of some of the most iconic John Frieda hair styles, including the famous Joanna Lumley ‘Purdey’. Guests were given the opportunity to visit the ‘Style Bar’, where a team of top John Frieda stylists where busy creating glamorous hair looks for the guests, many of the styles featuring a Purple hair weft. Claridge’s Ballroom was unrecognisable, transformed with a mirrored wall installation, up-lit floor and stunning DJ booth emblazoned with ‘25’.
John Frieda was also joined by Nicola Clarke, Creative Colour Director, and Harry Josh, International Creative Consultant, who are part of the brand’s House of Expert team.
With the launch in 1988 the John Frieda Brand brought genuine salon-inspired products that deliver salon-quality results at home for the first time. The brand went on to pioneer first-to-market, fashion-forward haircare innovations such as Frizz-Ease, Sheer Blonde, Brilliant Brunette, Luxurious Volume and Precision Foam Colour – each designed to meet the evolving needs of women and to give them hair they truly love.
When the John Frieda Brands launched 25 years ago a new era in beauty was heralded. The haircare landscape at that time is barely recognisable to the colossus it is today. And yet still, thanks to the fusion of its legendary salon-heritage with unrivalled technological innovation, the John Frieda Brand remains one of the best-selling haircare brands – and indeed most awarded haircare brands – in the UK today.
