Amidst the glitz and glam of the world’s biggest pageant, 22 year-old Gabriella Isler ran home with the “Miss Universe 2013” crown and title defeating 88 other beauties from across the globe.

This year’s competition was held in Moscow, Russia and over one million viewers in 190 countries saw the live telecast. The new “Miss Universe” immediately moves to New York City for a year, representing the Miss Universe Organization as their main spokesperson and will be involved in countless worldwide appearances, working with several charity causes globally. She joins “Miss USA” Erin Barr and “Miss Teen USA” Cassidy Wolf in a New York City luxury apartments located in mid-Manhattan.

Coming in second place was Patricia Rodriguez “Miss Spain” while Constanza Baez.” Miss Ecuador” placed third. Rounding out the Royal Court of top five finalists were Ariella Arila “Miss Philippines” in fourth place and Jakelyn Oliveri “Miss Brazil” placed fifth.

The other top ten finalist were Yaritza Reyes” Miss Dominican Republic” Amy Willerton” Miss Great Britain” Jin Ye “Miss China” Olga Stranteizeno “Miss Ukraine” and Manasi Moghe “Miss India”

In a special National Costume Competition, coming in the top five spots were: Nicaragua in first place, Trinidad and Tobago in second place, Russia in third place, Indonesia in fourth place and Japan in fifth place.

Miss Universe China – Jin Ye won the ‘Miss Congeniality Universe 2013 Award’ Miss Universe Poland – Paulina Krupinska won the ‘Miss Photogenic Universe 2013 Award’ – they both received prizes: $1,000.00 in cash and a gift from Miss universe pageant sponsor – Diamond Nexus.
