Spain took on Italy in a semi-final match at the FIFA Confederation Cup in Brazil last Thursday where the ending was a little stressful for anyone who’s a Spain or Italy fan… PENALTY KICKS. That’s right, the game remained scoreless through both halves and then two 15 minute extra periods. The only thing left to do was to take penalty kicks to decide who would make it to the final match. As it turned out, Spain would beat Italy in penalty kicks 7-5 after Leonardo Bonucci’s kick hit the top of the goal post. Jesus Navas from Spain came in and scored the winning goal to take Spain to the final where they would face Brazil.
